Maddison Dawn's love affair with storytelling began fifteen years ago, when a play she wrote was produced by her community theater in Oklahoma. It continued through college, where she wrote guest blogs for the National Coalition for the Homeless and the Office of National Drug Control Policy—early explorations of humanity’s darker corners that still echo in her work today.

As a mixed-race woman who is white-passing in a family that is not, she has spent much of her life navigating questions of identity, perception, and belonging. A first-generation college graduate, she values detail, resilience, and knowledge, and credits part of her defiance and grit to a lifelong love of Janis Joplin. She writes dark fiction and horror that digs beneath the skin—stories about the monstrous, the beautiful, and the blurred line between the two.
Her debut novel, EATING VERONICA, explores transformation and hunger and is part of a two-book deal spanning the U.S. and U.K., with publication slated for May 2027.

M.G. Hauck writes fantasy fiction for adults, inspired by everything from Alexandre Dumas to the epic worlds of Final Fantasy.

She studied professional writing at The College of New Jersey and has built a career as a sales and marketing executive, which funds her interior design and amateur gardening obsessions. Alongside writing, M.G. enjoys listening to (and playing) music, Friends reruns, and watching sports. Her books feature detailed fencing drawn from her years as an elite saber fencer.

M.G. is a tenacious Latina with a heart for serving her communities. She can usually be found volunteering at her son's school or for the annual Latinx Storytellers Conference. She is passionate about doing what she can to ensure all people have the opportunity to reach their potential.
